Symi Island Transportation

Symi Island Transportation

As the island has no airport, the best way to travel to Simi is by ferry. The island bus runs hourly between the southern side of the harbor of Gialos and Pedi Beach via Horio. Panormitis can also be served two to three times a day. Taxis depart from a location 100 meters west of the bus stop. You can also find car and motorcycle rental around the harbor.

During the summer, Turkey's Bodrum and the Greek island of Rhodes out daily ferry services are organized.

Symi Ferry

Another transportation alternative to the island of Simi is by ferry from Bodrum to Simi, and from Simi to Rhodes. Especially in the summer months, Turkey from Bodrum harbor and ferry from the Greek island of Rhodes harbor brings passengers to the island daily. Ferries also connect Simi with other islands of the Dodecanese, such as Rhodes, Kalymnos, Patmos, Leros, and Tilos.
