The beach of Nimporios is found 3 km northwest of Simi town and has a lot to contribute on the island's charm. It is mainly a quiet beach and visitors will enjoy a comfortable sunbath under the trees and a nice refreshing swim in the crystalline waters.
The area is worth to explore its stunning surroundings. The beach of Nimporios is excellent for a morning walk and then plunging into the transparent waters. Those who stay at the settlement of Nimborios usually visit the bays of Faneromeni, Marathounta and Agios Nikolaos. You can even take a walk with a donkey to reach the beach from the neighbouring villages.
